It is nice that we have a basic form view. Forms are the basic interaction feature for collaborators who only work with the substance (contant) and not the technical part of a database. Currently the layout options are one column, or two columns. For larger forms it would be great to have some flexibility. Have a look at the WordPress plugin "RegistrationMagic". They have a modular system for form building based on a grid of 4 columns and segments. So there is a lot of flexibility to make forms more logical, e.g., having smaller fields for email-addresses, index-numbers, phone numbers etc, medium width for short texts, and wide fields for rich text. They also have several options for adapting the field names (labels), adding headings, and the insertion of spacers, i.e., parts of the form without content, to be used to fine-tune the layout. This way a perfectly designed form can be integrated into any website. Airtable and Ninox too have a nice toolbox for creating tailored forms. I think creating tailor-made forms would make it easier for me to sell the database to my collaborators after the first year and renew the license.
